7DS The Absolute Worst & Weirdest Show: Worst. Parents. Ever.
It's
audience vs. performers as host Travis Abels and 7 Deadly Sins present a
collection of Portland's top comedians, writers, artists, radio
personalities, and other assorted raconteurs tell the story of their
own Worst, Best or Weirdest Parenting
Ever.
But
anyone in the audience can offer up the deets on their own worst, best or weirdest parenting story.
And
that story can be about whatever parenting means to you, either with a parent
or someone as a parent of a tiny human or beloved pet. Maybe it's a story of
the time your kid wrecked your car, or the time some brilliant parenting
strategy you tried massively backfired. Or maybe it's about when you tried to
hide something terrible you'd done from your own parents, or the time you
caught you mom or dad doing something terrible, or the time they really came
through for you when you needed it.
Whoever
everyone decides had the Worst, Best,
or Weirdest Parenting story - be it performer or audience member - will
have a chance to win one of the absolute best or absolute worst prizes ever
awarded on stage.
We'll
also give away prizes for the best answer to our Absolute Worst Question Of The Night, the
evening's Best Audience Member,
and whoever brings the Absolute Worst, Best
or Weirdest Family Photo - whatever
that means to you. Plus
other prizes that we'll probably just make up as we go!
